There is a handful of interesting websites out there with a lot of useful information and links. Have a look at

Health & Safety
Health and safety at our workplaces is not only about rules, regulations and at times red tape. It is also about paying attention to the basics of working at a desk. The British Chiropractic Association has some informative leaflets on their website such as advice for using office chairs, computers and laptops.

A comprehensive leaflet on Health & Safety by the government can be found here.

And a good ergonomic office chair does not have to cost a bomb. For some good value ergonomic chairs check out Lockwood Hume Office Environments.

Unwanted mail and phonecalls
Why waste time with unwanted marketing phonecalls or fill your recycling bin with unwanted junk-mail? Did you know that there is a central body that removes you from mailing, faxing and calling lists of direct marketeers?
Check out the Mailing Preference Service (MPS), the Fax Preference Service (FPS) and the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). The service is absolutely free and much quicker and easier than calling every single credit card company and ask to be removed from their mailing list. You can register online or call 0207 291 33 10
